By Design II, LLC (SBD) is a
professional services organization that has been designing, building, and
supporting solutions for the federal government and commercial enterprises for
over twenty years. SBD is an IBM Partner, two-time IBM
Beacon Award winner and two-time finalist with experience providing application
development, workflow and collaborative solutions.
We have adopted CMMI Level 2
and are working towards an assessment by the end of 2009. We have application development staff with
expertise in project management, Visual Basic, JAVA, J2EE, Lotus Notes/Domino,
Websphere, Oracle, Cold Fusion, .Net, and other programming and web-related
technologies. We also have
infrastructure staff with expertise with desktop operating systems, MS office
products, LANs/networks, MS Server, Windows, Unix,
Notes, and Exchange.

and a DCAA-approved accounting system located in

CMMI Maturity Level 3 Rating. Pyramid was certified as a CMMI Maturity Level 3 rated organization in 2008, and we use proven, documented, and standardized methodologies to ensure the quality of our systems engineering and maintenance and operations activities. Our methodologies and practices are housed in our Pyramid Process Asset Library, which is a SharePoint based information repository and collaboration environment used by our engagement teams.
Federally Certified ANSI-Compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Pyramid uses a certified EVMS and earned value management principles to support our engagements and to provide our clients with meaningful real-time information on the status of our work. Based on our EVM system and management approach, we are positioned to provide our clients with maximum visibility into our projects and any variances with regard to cost and schedule.
