SBD alliant

SBD Alliant, LLC is a joint venture established specifically for the provision of services under GSA's Alliant Small Business Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (ASB). Solutions By Design II, LLC (Founding and Managing Member) is responsible for the project management office (PMO) activities pertaining to the GSA Alliant Small Business Program for the JV. The joint venture was formed through a Contract Teaming Arrangement (CTA) comprised of 15 industry leading small business members, originally representing all socio-economic classes: 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Business. SBD Alliant has since grown its membership in an effort to provide more innovative services to the Federal Government.

The Alliant 2 Small Business (A2SB) GWAC was awarded on February 14, 2018.

ASB allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements, while strengthening opportunities for small businesses. The GWAC PoP ended on February 2, 2019 and no new task orders can be awarded. For task orders awarded prior to this date may run until February 2, 2o24.

On September 29, 2017, OMB designated the Alliant Small Business GWAC as a best-in-class solution for information technology services.


Aligns with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense Information Enterprise Architecture (DoD IEA)

This provides a common framework and terminology for defining and understanding the components of an IT solution. Alignment with the FEA and DoD IEA enables Alliant Small Business to evolve over time as technologies change without requiring a technical refresh. It also conforms to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policy mandates for reporting on IT investments


Low 0.75 percent contract access fee

The Contract Access Fee (CAF) is 0.75% to be applied to the total price for contractor performance as billed to the government on each task order

Alliant Small Business features fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, labor-hour, and time-and-materials task order types, providing greater flexibility in procuring different types of IT products and services and meeting your mission requirements


Streamlined Acquisition. No Protest under $10M

In accordance with FAR 16.505(a)(10), no protest under $10,000,000 is authorized in connection with the issuance or proposed issuance of an Order under a Task-Order Contract or Delivery-Order Contract, except for a protest on the grounds that the Order increases the scope, period of performance, or maximum value of the Contract. The Government Accounting Office (GAO) has exclusive jurisdiction over any protests greater than $10,000,000
